About Me

What doesn't kill me can only make me stronger!

Well I thought it was time I introduced myself, I am Adam sole developer of the Worldwide Social Networking community. For my sins I spend my life behind the screens of computers coming up with more ridiculous ways of wasting time on the internet when you can't go out and play with yer mates!

So why? The idea came to me in Bali when I was travelling with Sally, (mentioned on the about us pages) together we grew the concept but nothing was actually really developed until after we had parted company. She doesn't realise this, but she was a big inspiration to me and really did change my life

Almost a year on there are now 14 web sites covering Diving, Kayaking, climbing, partying you name it. Any type of activity you do away from the PC and in real life. There is also a range of fashion-ware and various silly gift ideas you can buy direct from the sites as well as the forthcoming members holiday and weekend break packages and of course the new pocket sized guide books covering all subjects. A small library in fact - a wealth of information...

I am extremely pleased to say we have as many new members the first 6 weeks of the year as we did the whole of last year and I am looking forward to greeting many more.

So what does the future hold? Well, the costs of running the communities is expensive so I have had to come up with new ideas to try and support the project financially, hence the shameful commercialization and branding! It has always been my intention to organise events, reef cleans, reboltings you name it - it's a good excuse to get together if nothing else! Well, I have been talking to various authorities and travel companies etc and we will be putting on events in the future. When I don't know and whether it will be this year is yet to be decided. Kinda relies on your support.

I am also asking you guys to do me a huge favor. These networks are too large for me to debug entirely on my own. If you do come across something that isn't working correctly let me know and I will fix it. Please remember it is me on my own, I have a real job too! One that pays real money and the rent, so I will spend as much time as I can further advancing the project and helping network the community.

Well thats enough ramblings, go play...
